Nicola Brough * Holistic Therapist

Welcome

fern

The purpose of my site is to promote the use of Complementary & Alternative Medicine (CAM) and to share the ways in which I work to support individuals to come to terms with inner suffering and pain.

Also known as Holistic Therapies, the word holistic has its origins from the Greek word 'holos' which means whole. Therefore, in a therapeutic setting the whole person is acknowledged, including the psychological, emotional, spiritual, physical, masculine and feminine elements of the 'Being' within.

My role is to facilitate and support a person by creating a safe space for their story to unfold, be it via psycho-somatic (memory stored within the tissues of the body), emotional or energetic processes, I trust the wisdom within each individual to communicate, how I can best support a process of reconnection, re-integration and a journey back to wholeness.

My own healing journey and ongoing training has brought about a change in perception, presence and personal freedom. Because of this my clinical work has deepened and 'being' in stillness with clients proves to be transformational.

My clinical experience informs me that by reducing stress levels and relaxing and having some quiet time on a regular basis, with therapies such as Cranio-sacral Therapy, Massage, Reflexology, Aromatherapy, Bowen Therapy and Reiki that you can find yourself in a healthier and improved state of well-being.

I have discussed briefly the therapies that I practise, but I encourage you to "Relax your body and slow your mind with holistic therapies to suit your needs..."

Sincerely,
Nicola Brough
